This tutorial ist written for PSP 8 and 9.

You need a nice flower picture.

Here, I have some of my collection (( click here for download ))

These Masks (( click here for download )) 

put this in your PSP mask folder.

 

 

   1) Open a new transparent image of 1024 pixel width  and 350pixel height

Flood fill with a nice color from your flower tube.

  2) Add a new layer.  " Selection - Select all" .

  3) Copy your flower tube ((Ctrl + C )) and past into selection in your transparent image. 

Select non.

"Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur" / radius: 15.

             ***

  4) Now go to "Layers - Load / Save Mask - Load Mask From Disk"

Look for the mask "175"  with these settings:

  5) "Layers - Merge - Merge group"

***

  6) "Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance" . 

***

7) " Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling"  with these settings:

***

8) "Layers - Merge - Merge all visible"

*** 

  9) Go back to your flower tube and change your tube to 350 pixel hight .

 ***

10)  "Layers - Load / Save Mask - Load Mask From Disk"

 Look for the mask "179" with these settings:

"Layers - Merge - Merge group"

11) Copy  your mask image ( Ctrl + C) and paste it as a new layer into your background . 

Move it  in the middle on the left site . Aligned from above to down.

 ***

  12)  "Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tile" with these settings:

13) Go to your Layer Palette and duplicate your tube.

" Image - Mirror" .  Set the Opacity to 50% .

 ***

14)  Activate the Text-Tool.

  Set your Foreground to transparent (Null) and your  Background to Color white.

Text-Tool settings here:

Write your name. Move it  on the left side your image .

In your layer Palette  go to Convert to Raster Layer

15)  With the vector tool you can put your name nice and easy in any direction you like

***

16) "Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow" with these settings:

17) "Layers - Merge - Merge all" and save your image as .jpg.

You can use now for Outlook Express or Incredimail.
